Development
The strength of phpBB lies in its community (both French and English) very active, and now the software developing MOD.
The new branch versions 3.0.x meet under the name of phpBB3 "Olympus" was released on December 13, 2007.
It brings a lot of new features including a new default theme, Prosilver (available on the free forum hosting, Forumotion).
For some, potentially phpBB has too many security flaws have not yet been identified and patched. Note that the community phpBB very regularly corrects security vulnerabilities critics, and that the systematic updating to the latest version of the software is more than recommended, even necessary.
